اللغة : ثعابين تطلقها جحور الذاكره
تتوه فيها شجرة الروح حين تقتصّ ثمرنا حروف المنفي..!

Dear Hafiz ,
listen to those exiled writers speaking
about living, loving and language
I know you'd immenssly enjoy it
take good care of yourself
and avoid the circular line,
for it it takes you in circles,
not knowing if you're coming or going,
" for it always chases its own tail"
or
like a Mahadist fighter's garment
you put it on and go backward in order to go ahead
I don't recall now, if it goes under King's Cross
For terror has undone so many there.
of late.
They were so busy running errnades
for their beloved ones or their bosses
so beware , you've so many poems to write yet,
so many books to enjoy
and a few moments of misery or of being upset.
I'm raving ,me thinks!

Hafiz , may Allah or the muses straighten your footsteps wherever you turn.
ربنا يعَدِل خِطِوتك شقيش ما تَقبِّل
You must have being ranting and raving in poetic delirium when you jotted down your exposition
Of self .
(عرضحال بالبلدي)
Do you realize that a living fetus of a splendid work without a brand of genre, started to grow and take shape in what you’ve just written.? Keep it going It is sort of a- portrait –of-a- writer- as- a- young (and exiled)- man.
I’ve included your metaphor of the circular line chasing its own tail in the text dedicated to your creative talents.

Mustafa.... e
it is so good to meet you here... the metaphor should be attributed to the Nigerian novelist and poet Chris Abani to whom you introduced me through the hyperlink
Here is his poem: poem
Things to do in London when you are dead
1.
Ride the circle line endlessly, chasing the dragon’s tail
2.
Count the dots on your fuzzy television and eat Donar Kebab
3.
Stand in the centre of Oxford Circus and scream, no matter. No one will see you
4.
Tell everyone you meet you’re a poet
Someone will eventually put you out of your misery
Chris Abani
